| Introduction | Susan’s counseling experience includes both pastoral and professional. She has been providing counseling encouragement since 1995 when she began working with single parent families. Her counseling history includes five years in pastoral care ministry at McLean Bible Church in Virginia, a year and a half as a hospital chaplain in the Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Care Unit, Cancer ward and Trauma & ER and the birthing center in Colorado Springs, Colorado and four years as a Domestic Violence and Drug and Alcohol Counselor in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Susan holds a BS Degree in Family and Child Services from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Counseling with a Certificate in Spiritual Guidance from Denver Seminary. She has completed Clinical Pastoral Education. Susan is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Behavioral Case Manager in the state of Oklahoma and she is certified as an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Susan is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. |
