| Introduction | Hi, I'm Debbie, a bookaholic. I live in north east England and for the past 35 years taught maths. Having recently retired I now have more time to devote to my love of reading. I've always been a reader, I was fortunate enough to be brought up in a home full of books and encouraged to use the local and school libraries. My love of reading has never left me, however the nature of my job meant that in recent years it has taken a back seat. Unfortunately it didn't stop me buying books so I have a TBR pile of about 800 books, my own personal library. I'd like to think retirement will allow me to make a dent in the TBR pile but I'm easily distracted by newer books. As for genres, I'll read most things. Crime and thrillers are a firm favourite.
