| Introduction | A born-again Christian, Apostle Claver is the founder & sr. pastor of the Corinthian Christian Empowerment Center (CCEC) in Houston. The house church is 5 years old with a congregation that ministers to and houses the homeless, drug addicted, former prostitutes, under educated, those recently released from incarceration -- “the least among us”. Apostle Claver is a graduate of Lamar University with a B.S. in mass communications. Claver has years of experience as an announcer and producer on both Christian and secular radio. Apostle Claver, a 5th generation Texan, grew up in Beaumont within a home of Christ, politics and civil rights. Currently, Apostle Claver is a member of the Republican Party, a director for the Greater Houston Pachyderm Club, and founder of RagingElephants.org. He’s former vice-chairman and director of communications for the Harris County Libertarian Party. His radio show, The Christian Politician, may be heard Mon-Fri, 9a.m. cst, on KCHN 1050 AM, or streaming KCHNradio.com. Claver and his beautiful wife, Chris, celebrated their 3rd anniversary on Christmas Eve, 2008. They have 3 children & 4 grandchildren. |
