| Introduction | I am a fairly new linux user and work with a guy called helios. He's got one goal and that is to make Linux work for everyday people. I spend much of my spare time hunting and fishing, I enjoy working on my car and dumping money into it. It's a 1969 Coronet with a 440 and a true sixpack with about 90k original miles. I also enjoy working with the Linux community and helping people discover how cool running a computer can be. If people only knew! Am currently serving in Afghanistan. I am a Combat Engineer, my paygrade is SSG/E-6 and I plan to be a career soldier. My Dad served 16 years of his career with Ken Starks, aka helios. He won't ever talk about it but some people have referred to him as a "hero". You don't know what level of truth you've spoke. And knowing Kenny, you never will. When I retire from the Army, I plan to go to work for HeliOS Solutions as a Tech Specialist and installation manager. If that's not possible, I intend to see if Sun Microsystems or Cisco needs my talents. Until then, I will be content in just blowing stuff up for Uncle Sam. |
