Introduction (KIPDA) is a the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Louisville Metropolitan area, which includes three Kentucky counties (Jefferson, Bullitt and Oldham) and two Indiana counties (Floyd and Clark). KIPDA serves as the forum for local governments, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the Indiana Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, the Federal Transit Administration, the Transit Authority of River City, and the area’s residents to plan for a coordinated transportation system designed to move people and goods affordably, efficiently, and safely.
Interests Policy For Social Media Post The Kentuckiana Regional Planning and Development Agency (KIPDA) encourages submission of comments and engagement on our social media sites. However, KIPDA expects these communications to follow a certain level of professionalism and discourse. The conduct guidelines indicated below will be followed in order to provide a productive and beneficial communications environment. KIPDA will remove any comments that: •Contain vulgar or abusive language, personal attacks of any kind, offensive terms that target a specific ethnic or racial group, or discriminatory language based on race, sex, gender, religion, national origin, age or disability •Promote or endorse a service or product •Are off topic, i.e., comments that do not pertain to the topic of the post •Contain security sensitive information •Contain materials that are copyrighted or trademarked •Contain links to Web sites that may be viewed as spam KIPDA will not discriminate against any view, but reserves the right to remove comments that do not adhere to the policy stated above. All posted comments reflect the views of the author and not those of KIPDA or any of its planning partners. When a comment is posted on our social media site(s), it is released to a public domain. In other words, comments are made available to the general public. For protection of privacy, no personal contact information should be included in the comment.
