| Introduction | I spent 9 years of my life in Lagos, Nigeria. After ten years away from Africa I finally get to go back. I am a recent Western Washington University graduate pursuing the daunting task of getting into medical school. Over the past year I have made delicious Forza coffee as a barista, coached volleyball at my alma mater: Curtis High School, and whipped young volleyball players into shape as a personal trainer. Now I am embarking on an adventure back to Africa with my great friend Molly. I will be participating in an internship with Child & Family Health International called Healthcare Challenges and HIV/AIDS in Cape Town and Durban, South Africa for nine weeks. Check out my trip! |
