IntroductionHello, my name is Paul and I love to learn new things. I also love the sun, which means in the UK when we get some, everythingd great. I enjoy being with my family, but also being away sometimes. This blog is written to help people, rather than talk about me. Back to me, I read quite a bit, a lot of non fiction, a lot of history and self improvement. I hate doing thingd thay bore me, like travelling on motorways, sitting in traffic and listening to people who clearly dont know what they are talking about. There are a range of reality TV programs my wife and son enjoy, that I dont and as i live in a democracy, I loose the TV remote I have just finished watching "The Secret" and I loved it. My immediate family consists of my wife, two adult, not always grown up, kids a son and daughter, and a 6 year old grandaughter. I love them all to bits. I started physical therapies to help my family, only my son hasn't asked for help, wonder why?
InterestsMy family come first in all things and lately I have become concerned with the Envoionment and what the future holds for my children and grandaughter. I have been interested in health for a long time, all kinds of Physical therapies including massage, full body, head and shoulders and feet.I have studied Amatsu a Japanese system of body balancing. My interest started when my wife and mother persuaded me to attend a course on Rejuavenssenc. This is a very effective system facial beauty massage, I then studied Reflexology which I find very relaxing and effective.I read about Reiki which is an energy based system of healing that is also relaxing and effective. To come up to date I completed an NLP and Hypnosis course which has given me some brand new tools for the healing tool box. I have also started to use Emotional Freedom Technique. On a slightly differant note, I have just attended an introduction to TM, meditation course and found it really interesting and I would like to see, personally, how meditation affects your health..
Favorite moviesI do like The Secret, Love Actually,A Christma Carrol,Emanuelle,Bridget Jones Diares most comedies subtle humour rather than slapstick, Battle of Britain, The Longest Day is a favourite, probably Love Actually is at the top of my list because love is a powerful force for good and this film deals with nearly exery aspect of love.
Favorite musicMost classical, love Chopin and Wagner, really weird combination, contempory music would be Queen and Jonni Mitchell.
Favorite booksI do enjoy historical novels and, quite strangely, Sci-Fi. Of the former, Bernard Cornwall is ahead by a nose because I love British history and he has written the Arthur series abd Saxon Chronicles. Good History books rather than lots of dates. Wilbur Smith also writes good stories and I find an interest in ancient history, finally Ghurchills history of the English speaking peoples
