| Introduction | I am a color impressionist who begins the painting process by painting a study on location, en plein air. The eye sees so much more than the camera when it comes to color and color relationships. I usually finish the study in the studio and then after studying the work for a while, I may produce a larger work based on the small painting and photos and memory. The small study will sometimes be exhibited and sold as well. I am represented by several galleries in the Gettysburg/Hanover/Harrisburg Pa. area. |
