| Introduction | Dear Neighbors of Saint Frances Cabrini Church: I am a homeowner who lives adjacent to Saint Frances Cabrini Church and have been complaining for several years about their loud bells which, to me, are unwanted and irritating. I don't want or need the bells to call me to church, or to tell me what time it is (I have my own peaceful methods). The bells generally disturb the peace, wake me up, prevent me from sleeping, encroach in my personal space, embarrass me when I have guests over and make being outdoors and gardening maddening, to state just a few of my complaints. If you also find them irritating please help by leaving a comment on this blog or emailing me, complain to the church and keep a record of it or call the County of Santa Clara. The phone numbers are on the main page. I would also like to hear from you if you have successfully forced a church in your neighborhood to shut down their bells. Peacefully your neighbor, Jason B. |
