What reason do you have to believe the earth is flat?
nothing but change is permanent! in a decade or so of evolution in consumer electronics we have flat screens, lcds, hdtvs, plasma t.vs and it keeps gettin bigger, better, and flatter. hence, it should not take a rocket scientist to figure out that after billions of years of evolution, earth too would have liked the idea of upgrading itself... ;-)
