| Introduction | Painting, drawing, photography, stitching, designing, I have done those things as long as I can remember. Growing up in the Netherlands combined with long stays in rural Panjab (India) taught me that nothing is impossible in combinations of colours, materials and styles, it is all up to you. As the two worlds are so different, and neither one of them can be wrong it could only be that both are right. So I happily use influences of both. September last year I came to Canada, so instead of two cultures I am now dealing with three! I am celebrating this new source of inspiration by promising myself to make at least one painting a week. Hoping to be able to have enough work for an exhibition here soon ( I could hardly bring any of my older paintings here as most are too big for a suitcase). Enjoy! |
