Introduction	I love good food almost as much as I love life itself! I am not much of a meat eater but my hubby is a "meat & potatoes" kind of guy. I love that he's becoming more experimental in his food selections so we can try new things together no matter where we are. I love dark chocolate, desserts of all kinds, veggies, wine, microbrews, coffee (although now I drink decaf), seafood, quinoa, and the list goes on and on. I have rows and rows of cookbooks, I'm beginning to get a bit obsessive!! I hope to use this blog to share recipes, stories, and hopefully a few thoughts about current food/health news.
Interests	Hiking, biking, traveling, random road trips, family time, trying new restaurants/breweries/wineries, trying to golf, animals, kiddos, nutrition,camping, quotes, reading, stars, documentaries...
Favorite music	I love belting out to soulful, chill music...Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Ray LaMontagne, Rilo Kiley, Johnny Lang, India Arie, Jenny Lewis, Ben Harper, Norah Jones, Adele, Jack Johnson, Train, Florence and the Machine, The Avett Brothers, Roma di Luna....and of course some good ol' country and oldies that I used to listen to growing up with my mom.
Favorite books	Cookbooks, The Five People You Meet In Heaven, Kite Runner, The Power of Now, Marley & Me, Nicholas Sparks books, Danielle Steel <I was named after her> :) I love reading a little bit of everything
