About me

Introduction My name is Kaitlin, I am 13 years old and I have epilepsy. I was diagnosed in 2008 after having my very first tonic clonic seizure. What I have learned since then is that anyone with a brain can get epilepsy. It doesn't discriminate against who it will affect, or when... I take Lamictal twice a day, the side effects haven't been THAT bad. As of now I don't have a "real" diagnosis. My neurologist isn't sure what is going on with me. 2 years ago I was having complex partials and tonic clonics which then seemed to morph into absence seizures in 2010. Now, I seem to be morphing again either back to partials or a different type of absence seizure. SeIzUrEs SuCk which is why I decided to try to make a difference in the epilepsy community. Money that I raise through various fundraisers and profits from the merchandise I sell will be donated to the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation and the Danny Did Foundation. The work that both of these foundations are doing is important and you can click on their link to read more about what they do and why they do it.
Interests Fastpitch softball, playing the drums, animals, art, swimming, dancing, video games, and epilepsy research.
