Introduction	I am an attorney, a notary public and a registered notary education provider. My passion is the La. Civil Code and trying to pass that passion on to notary students. I've downsized my practice to estate planning, family law, real estate closings, and teaching notary courses and giving notarial education seminars. I'm old - 64, have two wonderful daughters, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Yes, I do seem to put my work in front of my family but they seem to be okay with it most of the time. I love God, my family, teaching, and the law - in that order. I am trying to recover from a serious and long bout of depression. Good therapy, good drugs, good Christian counseling, and a wonderful group of supportive friends who love me very much are helping me make my way to at least some sort of mental, spiritual, and physical good health. I have great respect for all non- satanic faiths that teach love and respect for all mankind and devoted followers of those faiths. Most would describe me as non-traditional, a little eccentric, and passionate about my interests. For the most part, they are right.
Interests	Teaching notary classes, work, scuba diving, work, people, work, reading fiction, work, not politics, work (anyone seeing a pattern here?)
Favorite movies	Judge Dredd (the first one, not the new one), The Producers (the re-make), Cider House Rules, almost any movie with Johnnie Depp, Sean Connery (the old one not the young one - don't make me watch any James Bond movies), and Bruce Willis
Favorite music	oldies but goodies - is there any other kind of music?
Favorite books	Most, but not all of Stephen Kings novels and novelettes - not his short stories, and well-written action fiction books - especially those with some supernatural aspects. Don't make me read non-fiction. I get enough reality every day (see interests).
