Introduction I have much to offer as a first-hand observer having lived with “classic” combat-PTSD. My slant on long-term marriage (35 years) is written with heartfelt humor and sentimental wishes...for my healing..perhaps yours. In these chapters. I hope to share my insight and wisdom. I married a veteran with combat-PTSD. Let us not be forgotton in our struggle. My hope is that by sharing my unique life, we can all recognize ourselves and embrace our survival...living with combat-PTSD and it’s secondary effects. I long for the secret silence to be over, to move forward, no matter what our strengths and weaknesses. We are affected. I believe it is our responsibility to pass the baton (so to speak) to the next generation. By sharing our life stories, we are witness of what is left of some veterans, of survival skills unique to us, whose lives were left war-torn by a force so strong and threatening it kept us silent. Let this be a loving tribute to the silent sisterhood of Vietnam wives. Keep your humor and keep your faith Peace and Love my sisters.
