| Introduction | When I started this blog, I was a "Lost Iowan" alone in a sea of Californians, seeking a return to the Heartland. After 23 years in California, my Wife and Daughter (both born and breed California girls)and I returned to Iowa, along with my dear Mother-In-Law, herself a former Iowan. The only thing missing is my Son, who has decided to stay in California (for now) to work on his education. We are all hopeful that someday he will decide to join us. I am married to an amazing woman (Cindy) and have two great kids - Blake, who is a sophomore in college, and my daughter Madison, a 12 year old whose questions and wonderment keep us on our toes. A Libertarian, I am conservative by nature with a general curiousity about all things political. |
