| Introduction | I have been a MAC makeup collector since I started working in 2003. My interested in makeup sky rocked about in 2005...when all I wanted to do is my makeup. Youtube became my new best friend...I would watch tutorials of makeup techniques and how to's for different eye shapes and face shapes. Then I finally started doing makeup for my friends and sisters special occasions. I had known that they offered a course at my local community but never had the extra money to actually take until I one day I called and enrolled to the class. The teacher was amazing and I would recommend taking her class if you are pursing a career in makeup or just to learn. Even though I already had some background in makeup ..I did learn a few new tricks and it was a great way to network. Taking the class gave me the confidence to take the leap and do makeup professionally and trust me when I say never in a million years did I think I would be making business cards to do makeup but it is my true PASSION...and if I can make anyone feel extra special and beautiful on any occasion...then why not! |
