| Introduction | I recently celebrated my 20th year in publishing and working for Thomas Nelson Publishers. I started working for a bookstore in Waco, Texas, after college in 1989 and then joined the sales team for Word Publishing in Dallas which was acquired by Thomas Nelson Publishers in Nashville. In 2000, I made the transition into product development to create and manage Nelson’s Backlist Development department, which helps each division produce products based on previously published content. Since then, I have held a variety of management positions including helping create and manage the WestBow Press division which provides publishing services to aspiring authors who want to self-publish their books. |
