| Introduction | There were a lot of people in my life that cared about me and who helped me with making the right choices. First and foremost, my mother was a huge part of my life. She was a single parent raising all of us kids. She was tough but I always knew she had to be in order for all of to listen to her. She always stood by my side and even though I made bad decisions she always encouraged me to keep trying. My older sister Liz was my best friend when we were kids and still is. She was the person that would talk me into doing things I feared to do. To this day I still go to her for advice and encouragement. My younger brother Raul had a huge impact on my childhood. I was also looking after him and making sure he did not get hurt. I think he made me a more nurturing person. My siblings also cared about me. We always stood by eachother for the good and the bad. |
