Introduction I design and make historically accurate clothing, mainly from the mid to late 19th century. I started making my own clothes at 12, and my own dance costumes. When I had a daughter and she danced, I made hers too. I volunteered in the wardrobe department of the Alberta Ballet Company every Christmas for seven years, fixing costumes, dressing dancers, etc. I made all the costumes for the Sally Hanna dance studio here in Victoria for almost ten years, and was Wardrobe Mistress for the flamenco company Alma de Espana for five years. I love Victorian and Edwardian clothing, and taught myself how to make authentic outfits. I currently work in the film industry and theatre.
