Introduction Adam Marsland is an American independent singer/songwriter, most known as the former lead vocalist and primary songwriter of Cockeyed Ghost, a 1990s California power-pop trio. Marsland launched his solo career with a series of extensive, cross-country tours playing small clubs, and the release of a live album, 232 Days on the Road. In 2004, Marsland joined with singer/songwriter Evie Sands, who became a driving force in The “Adam Marsland Chaos Band,” his new touring band and the band used on his first solo studio album, 2004’s You Don’t Know Me. Adam, working with the Chaos Band and other musicians, made four more albums (including the career-defining, though commercially disappointing, 2009 double album GO WEST) before turning away from his own material to do session and production work for other artists. As a sideman, he has worked with members of the Beach Boys, the Wrecking Crew, Stew, Davie Allan and others. In 2011, he added another chapter to his colorful resume by briefly touring as frontman with the legendary '60s garage rock band The Standells, before returning to production and studio work.
