Introduction	As the mother of four, my daughter is the inspiration for this blog. Candice is the youngest of 4. In 1994, when she was 3 years old I married Keith, we have been happily married for 16 yrs. Keith has always been an attentative and engaging dad, fully accepting my children. Candice has one brother, Robbie, in the military, stationed in Texas. She has two sisters, Chana and Amanda, both have recently finished high school. Candice has one neice Alora, who is two. We are an average middle class family. Keith works for the railroad and I am in sales. Candice was a typical kid with a lot of friends, her family always came first. In school she was involved in music and sings really well. She always joined choir and school chorus. She loved to attend dances in school, and weekly at the local Lyons club. In middle school she belonged to the Stand By Me Club", a group of kids mentoring handicapped kids. Looking back on her youth there are really not any significant clues that would have led us to believe that she would grow up to have Schizophrenia. As her mom,I know I speak for all her family,we want nothing more than to assist in facilitating her healing and seeing her healthy again.
