Introduction Anjana's extensive experience includes leadership roles with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and Save the Children US. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lucknow University (India) and a master’s degree in Sustainable Peace from the UN Mandated University for Peace (Costa Rica). Additionally, Anjana has certifications in Humanitarian Diplomacy from IFRC/DiploFoundation (Geneva) and Peace Leadership from the Euphrates Institute/Centre for Executive Education at the University for Peace. Certified Coach in Inclusive Leadership regularly provides advice and council to c-suite leaders on matters related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She served as a Senior Fellow at the King Center: The Center for Non-violent Social Change for 2023-2024. Anjana is also an accomplished author, with two books—Gudia: A Defiant Doll (English) and Papa ke Joote (Hindi)—alongside contributions to various peer-reviewed journals and publications. A polyglot, she speaks English, Hindi/Urdu, and Spanish.
