| Introduction | An international development professional on my first international posting with the United Nations Development Programme in Kathmandu, Nepal, on a mission to distribute my extensive teddy bear collection around the world as my career grows. This blog will cover the broad spectrum of my experiences living and working internationally – from airport mix ups to unintentional food poisoning to office politics to trying to fit in and make friends. However, I plan to make giving my bears away an important part of these experiences. I hope to give my bears away to children in every developing country the job trail takes me to who will get far more joy from each bear individually than I could ever have gotten from them collectively. First stop: Nepal. |
