| Introduction | I'm a joyful stay-at-home/work-from-home mama of two wild little boys who keep me on my toes. I am blessed to live in beautiful Colorado where there is so much "scope for the imagination." My MA is in Children’s Literature and I'm a former librarian, so I delight in good stories and whimsical characters. When I was pregnant with my second son, I sewed a little doll for my older son so he could have his own "baby" to practice taking care of. From there I began experimenting with different styles of sewn toys, which ultimately led to me adapting patterns and designing my own dolls and monsters. Each of my creations has a story behind it, part of which I share with you. But the rest of each character's story is yet to be told. When you wrap your arms around them, the second part of their story begins: the part where they're home. Here I will preview my creation and tell a little bit of their history before they go up for sale on my Etsy page. |
