| Introduction | Hi everyone… my name is Sandy. This is the section where I’m supposed to tell you who I am. Well, who I am is an empty-nester mom living in Southwest Michigan. Who I ALSO am is a woman who’s discovered that her greatest pleasures come from simple things. Time spent with my kids. Friends around my table. Getting my hands dirty in my garden. Sitting in the woods. A good glass of wine. And okay, I have to admit… a great pair of shoes. My blog has nothing to do with brown eggs really… or chickens for that matter. Although I REALLY would love both!! The name “Beauty in Brown Eggs” comes from the fact that the beauty I see in brown eggs excites me… more than diamonds. It’s just who I am. God has been nudging me. Unsettling the life that I knew. And drawing me back to my creative roots. When I follow Him there… I hear Him, in new and amazing ways. I have no idea where this journey will take me, but He has my attention. He is everywhere. In everything. I am so thankful He cares enough to want to show me. Join me. |
