| Introduction | I grew up in Montreal and have spent most of my life living in the Vancouver, B.C. area where I was a businessman for many years. I am now retired and living on Vancouver Island with Linda Spenard and our golden retriever Shelby. R.I.P. Cooper. I have 2 kids, twins, Dean and Leah who are 29. | Interests | I have followed American politics since the US presidential election in 1960 and used to make comments on Huffington Post. My political leanings are mostly to the left and I am pro small business and not inclined to be in favour of large corporations. I believe in fair free enterprise and a social structure that benefits everyone not just a few. I am a proud Canadian and prefer our country being peacekeepers in the world instead of active participants in foreign wars. When I say semi retired it means I still dabble in business but it takes up very little of my time. |
