| Introduction | I go by several tags: 'Nilopa' by name, 'Bombayite' by personality, 'Indian' by nationality, 'Student' by title, 'Economist' by profession. I have lived more than 2 decades of my life in Bombay. Here a loving family and a most supportive set of friends made me realize that life was worth living, my education at St. Xaviers' College which gave me a superb worldview that life was worth fighting for and Mumbai University which made me eventually discover what i really wanted out of my life which worth living and fighting for. I am currently a doctoral candidate at the University of California, Irvine trying to fulfill that life - a student researcher of Economics and aspiring an academic career contributing to the field of Economics. Meanwhile, i am enjoying Californian weather and some new found joys of life :) |
