| Introduction | I am married to a great guy. We have a wonderful little home on just enough property to keep the critters we have (but not enough to allow me to collect TOO many more…)Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Verbal, our sweet yellow dog, in June 2010. Now the family consists of Alvy, a goofy Lab puppy, Stella, a pretty, princess, Maine Coon cat, Spartacus, a bratty gray tabby cat, Raquel, an awesome black Percheron horse, Jesse, her sidekick donkey, Bill, the emu, a bunch of beautiful ( and productive!) chickens, Rayna, a sweet little chinchilla, and fish tanks full of guppies. We have a small veterinary practice in a very nice community. It keeps me hopping as a solo practitioner-it’s a good thing I have a terrific support staff. I belong to a nice little Methodist church and enjoy supporting the Walk to Emmaus/Chrysalis communities. I love being with friends and riding my horse, gardening in the summer, reading, watching movies, and knitting, crochet, and other craft projects. I started combining some interests, starting a “prayer shawl” ministry in my church. |
