Introduction	I grew up in a household where cooking was taken very seriously. Both my mom and dad are wonderful cooks. It wasn't until I got married that I actually started to appreciate what I had for so many years. I soon realized that if I was ever going to eat anything more than satisfactory again other than the occasional sunday dinner at my parents or the in-laws I was going to have to start cooking myself. The recipes on this blog are ones that I have gathered over the last couple of years or have come up with on my own. I have come to find that it doesn't take a lot of skill to cook something that tastes wonderful.

Favorite movies	Nemo, Disney clasics, Oceans 11 & 13, Pirates all three! Iron Man
Favorite music	Scissor Sisters! Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, OkGo
Favorite books	I'm not much of a reader actually. My husband has been trying to get me to read more ever since we started dating... silly boy. I like the Harry Potter books and Fablehaven books.
