| Introduction | Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm a recent college graduate who loves many shows, movies and books of the geek variety. I've been inspired to start this blog because, one: I want to share my love for geeky culture (read: "Doctor Who") and B: I am an aspiring writer, and I want to use this blog as a way to sharpen my skills (or lack thereof). Growing up in the Pacific Northwest has given me a laid-back attitude and hopefully I'm bringing that vibe to this blog. I love so many shows it is impossible for me to learn every single thing about them all, so I am what I would call a casual geek. I've listed some of my favorite movies and books--at some point you can put good money on the fact that I will blog about them. Also, there will be much talk of British television, because it's awesome. So I invite you to grab a root beer and some munchies and join me chilling on the sofa every two weeks or so. Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?
It would definitely have to be made out something that sparkles, like diamond, because who doesn't love sparkly things? And it would commemorate my victory of finally getting a lid off of a jar of jam. Seriously, those lids are ridiculous tight.
