Introduction	I'm recently tenured associate professor at a state university (a university formerly referred to as R1, before that designation offically disappeared); I have a teaching & research appointment in a technical discipline. I'm married to a super guy who uprooted himself to move with me for this job, for which I am very lucky and grateful. We have a cute little toddler, for whom I am also very grateful.
