| Introduction | My name is Danny Shay and I am from Long Island, NY. I am a Sports Media Major here at HPU and I went to Sachem East High School in Farmingville, NY. I have been lucky enough to previously work for 'The 7 Line" which is a clothing and media company affiliated with the New York Mets my favorite baseball team. I play hockey and golf and in my free time, I like watching sports and playing Xbox with my friends. On campus I am involved with sports-link which broadcasts all of HPU's athletic events directly to ESPN+ and I am also involved with HPU Point-Blank which is a live entertainment show where I cover sports. At HPU, my studies will focus on sports media and how the production of live sports works. After HPU, I hope to become a professional sports broadcaster and achieve my dream of one day calling a World Series or a Stanley Cup Final. |
