IntroductionWhen people read my books and find out I was involved in police work, they expect a large woman. I'm five three, with wavy red hair, Mom's English complexion and Dad's Irish nose. I fit the image of the ditsy writer perfectly. I walk into walls, don't always listen when I'm in the middle of a book, and can disappear into my work for months on end. Along with my writing life, I'd like people to experience my spiritual side as well, so hopefully, you'll stay with me when I take off on a tangent. You always write better when you write about something close to your heart. I have one very good friend outside of my husband and family. This year I made a committment to develop an actual social life, something most writers abhore. I'm already trying to wiggle my way out of it by writing this blog.

The squish of mud between your toes; how would you live your life as a frog?

Stupid question for an author. Random Answer: Sometimes I can't keep my shoes on my feet. Everyone thinks I'm joking, but they suddenly seem too big.
