| Introduction | I have lived in Jasper for eleven years. I have a degree in Art History from the University of Alabama and a master's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. I taught fifth grade at Buhl Elementary in Tuscaloosa County before moving to Jasper. I taught fifth grade at T.R. Simmons Elementary from 1997-2002. I have been a stay-at-home-mom for the past five years. I have a wonderful family that includes my husband, Bob, my five-year-old son, Jack, and my eleven-year-old dog, Shiloh. My husband is an attorney in Jasper and my son is excited to be starting T.R. this fall as a kindergartner. Our family is very active in First United Methodist Church in downtown Jasper. |
