| Introduction | I live in the Bay Area with my wife and cats, now that our daughter is grown and gone. Got my B.A. from UCLA and my J.D. from UC Hastings College, both a long time ago. I have legitimate expertise in oil and gas tax law and in 3-D computer graphics. In recent years, I have devoted myself to writing fiction. My first novel, Port Royal, explores the twilight era of the West Indian buccaneers. You can find it on Amazon. I claim no special expertise as to the subject of this blog.
