| Introduction | I have been a Lecturer at Forth Valley College (prev. Falkirk College) since 1995 teaching Modern Languages and more recently the PDA Advanced Diploma:Teaching in Further Education. I also work for SQA as Senior Verifier for German, Marker of Higher German and member of two Qualifications Design Teams. As a member of the steering group of the Further Education Modern Languages Network I have always enjoyed meeting colleagues from other colleges to share ideas and experience. In August 2007 I was appointed as Subject Mentor for Modern Languages and ESOL by SFEU, which has given me the opportunity to meet colleagues in both subject areas, share subject developments via Practitioners Plus and take part in training events and conferences. |
