About me

GenderFemale
OccupationSenior Lecturer of English at MCAST
IntroductionMy name is Priscilla Mifsud and I’m from Malta, I obtained my B.A. (Hons) in English from the University of Malta back in 2002 and eventually did my PGC in Vocational Education at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology. I teach Technical English at MCAST, mainly aviation and engineering students at Levels 2, 3 and 4 at the Institute of Engineering and Transport. I am currently doing my Master's in Open and Networked Higher Education at the University of Malta. I love reading, travelling, eating well and eating out. I am keen on learning languages, listening to a good song (anything from oldies to contemporary but Your Latest Trick by Dire Straits comes to mind) and watching a good movie or series (crime, thriller or Turkish). I enjoy baking in winter (a good jam tart and a cup of black coffee is bliss) and I love Christmastime. Summer is the time for long lie-ins, lazy pool days, good reads and plenty of good fun with the family. Being around people is nice and there’s plenty of that in the education field but my alone-moments are equally important for me.
