| Introduction | I'm a runner who took up the sport after meeting Doug and watching him run marathon after marathon, mile after mile. Just for fun. Oh...and maybe for a medal, too. I remember thinking, "I could never do THAT!" Then remembered, I can do anything I put my mind to...if you want it bad enough-you can obtain it with a little bit of hard work and dedication. Running has become a part of who I am. And I love it! I ran my first Marathon in October of 2005. I have 33 Marathons and 24 Half Marathons under these tootsies and have run a Full or Half Marathon in 28 different states and the beautiful countries of Bermuda, Costa Rica,Greece and the Bahamas. I have also completed a Half Ironman-all of which I am so proud to have accomplished. |
