| Introduction | Amidst getting ready for my fantasy hockey draft and getting my waiver requests in, I’ve decided, with the help of my best friend, to write a Vikings blog. My Blood Runs Purple is my take on what the Vikings do well, don’t do well and should be doing. It’s been a rough start this season and I can’t help but think of the Twins when analyzing the results, but looking deeper I have higher optimism for the Vikings, although I held on to hope for the Twins until mid-August. The difference between these teams is the fast starts for the Vikes. Gaining these leads and blowing them is better than watching the Twins fail to reach a base and when they finally get the bases loaded with no or one out, salt it away. I still have high hope for my Vikes. I’ve seen them beat the best and then lose. Maybe I’m naïve to hang on, or maybe it’s because My Blood Runs Purple.
