| Introduction | After completing a strenuous graduate program, I couldn't find a job. So instead, I decided to do something spectacular with my life. Travel. I have always enjoyed learning about different cultures and languages. More importantly, I love traveling around the world. Thailand has always been a travel interest of mine. The food, the people, and the peaceful spirit of the country has always intrigued me. Towards the end of my tiring and unsuccessful job search, I felt discouraged and inadequate. It was then I discovered a program that would place me in a teaching job and accommodate my stay in Thailand. Since I have stopped looking for a U.S. and I am much happier at the moment. As for my feelings about this trip so far, I feel happy, stressed, liberated, fear, and a countless other emotions. This blog is designed for those who want to travel to Thailand, those who want to follow my travel experiences, and those who don't mind some crude language and topics. I want you all to enjoy my travels every step of the way. I hope you enjoy my story. |
