Introduction	Why are we doing this? The average age of the farmer in the US is 55 and only 1% of people in the U.S. claim farming as their occupation. Brian and I want to start a small, organic farm. We plan to grow vegetables and some fruit at our farm. Our main motivation is growing food locally and in an sustainable manner. We want to show people that eating fresh, local, organic, in season produce is not only better for their body and the environment, but also tastes much better.
