| Introduction | I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Women's & Gender Studies and in the Department of Occupational Therapy. I teach classes on how to do research. And, I am currently teaching a class on teen pregnancy and parenthood in the US and Africa titled, 16 & Pregnant. My research examines the ways that HIV/AIDS impacts families in rural South Africa, with a focus on older women's lives. Recently I have begun to explore older persons' health and wellbeing in rural South Africa. |
