Introduction	I have always been inspired by the landscape around me. My paintings are about those incredible colors that pop up quickly in New England. I paint what I see on a daily basis. Painting expressively allows me to gather a rythm when I paint that often surprises me with the results. The unexpected appearance of color depending on what is going on around it really excites me. My goal is for my paintings to attract the viewer from afar and then keep them interested close up, just as nature does. I absolutely love what I do and try to keep in energetic and fun. As a recent cancer survivor (2 years ago non-hodgkin Lymphoma), doing what I love and focusing on what is positive right around me has become a daily goal more than ever. I studied painting at Skidmore College including a year abroad at S.A.C.I. in Florence, Italy.
