| Introduction | Born in Hong Kong. Graduated from the University of Hong Kong (香港大學）majoring in Social Work. Completed courses of design at the First Institute of Design (大一設計學院) in Hong Kong. Emigrated to Toronto in 1988 and resumed social work career. Changed profession to music performance and orchestral administration in 2001. Founded the Ontario Chinese Orchestra (安省中國民族樂團) in 2007, the first professional Chinese orchestra in Canada. Now an orchestral administrator, erhu performer, instructor and a freelance photographer in Toronto. |
