Introduction	I grew up in Mossel Bay where I mariculated in 1996. In 1997 I moved to Durban to study paramedics. During this time I represented Natal surfing for 4 years, at which point I decided to follow my dream to become a professional surfer. I based myself in the U.K to pursue my dream, I did the WQS (world qualifying series)for 5 years where I consistantly made the top 100.In last two years my focus changed to the British tour, I finished 3rd in 2006 and 2nd in 2007, I was also crowned 2007 U.K Triple crown champion. During this time I took part in the BSA (British surfing association) coaching scheme where I qualified as a level 3 surf instructor. I was also the Junior British Squad coach for 2006/2007. At this junction in my life I decided to move back to Mossel Bay to continue a carrer in surfing and coaching.
