| Introduction | I spent my formative years in the dandelion fields of Chittenango, NY spinning The Doobie Brothers on my parents record player and skipping around in jelly shoes trying to uncover the secret to catching fireflies. A few slap bracelets later, I found myself whisked away from the Empire state for college in the high desert of Flagstaff, Arizona where Five-Star notebooks turned to Blue Books and Blue Books became a BS in History. Moonlighting as retail management, selling a multitude of handbags, candles, and clothes, I pushed through an MA in History.
