| Introduction | My name is Jackie Timmes and I'm excited about being a part of this year's Ivy League Connection. I am orginially from the east coast and look forward to returning "home" when taking part in the Brown II connection. I have been a Biology and Physiology teacher at De Anza High School in WCCUSD for the past 3 years, and have taught 3 of the current ILC students (1 of them twice) :). Before starting my teaching adventure, I played semi-professional soccer and coached a competative youth program through the guidance of the mighty Liverpool organization. Previous to that, I captained my University's Division 1 varsity soccer team on the east coast, traveling around most of the country through these opportunities. I have spent the last 3+ years in the Bay Area and have loved all of the opportunites I have experienced from doing so! |
