IntroductionI grew up on the family property with my grandparents living across the road. As a child with my siblings I rolled in the dirt and shared the dog's bones with no long lasting consequences. I had a governess and completed my primary education through School Of The Air. I still venture home at every opportunity and stay involved in the family property as much as I can. I have always lived in and loved the outback and over time I have filled many roles. I have been a jack of all trades, musterer, fencer, station hand, bookkeeper, Girl Friday, computer guru, counselor and a gardener. On a property you learn to fill whatever role is needed. I have always been strongly involved with outback community organisations. Over time I have put many hours into ICPA and other local charities. I believe community work is the corner stone of life and many skills can be gained from it. As a sideline I run a little internet business selling products, very complimentary to the lifestyle I lead. My main occupation at the moment is my work as a governess and most of my time is spent laughing and learning with the kids I teach. But I do spend many hours like the children I teach looking out the window
