About me

Gender Female
Occupation Homemaker, Midwife
Introduction I have been married since 2004. I have 4 children and believe that they are wonderful blessings from the Lord. My birth experiences with them have impacted the way I view birth, and changed my compassion and understanding of women during pregnancy and birth. I was home schooled, and am now homeschooling my own children. My hobbies include reading, cooking, and baking. I love Christ more than anything, and seek to serve him with my whole life. I attended my first birth with my mom when I was 12 years old, and knew from that moment on that I was called to be a midwife (with woman). I started working as an apprentice midwife at the age of 15, and have been active in the midwifery community for 10 years. My passion for helping mothers and babies learn and achieve what is best for them is what has driven me to become a midwife. I teach childbirth classes and have worked as a doula. I have been licensed as a midwife since November of 2009. I am currently working towards getting certified as a lactation consultant, and I provide breastfeeding advice and support.
